Also known as reconstituted or quartz stone, this is a composite material that has been formed by binding together crushed stone like quartz or marble with an adhesive or resin. The outcome of this process is an extremely hard wearing, practical and highly versatile surface which is virtually non-porous with high levels of resistance to scratching, chipping, impact and stain.
Whilst ideal for high traffic areas like kitchens and bathrooms, engineered stone also works well for reception desks, feature splashbacks and tabletops.
